Amersfort (Work in Progress)

Acquired by the City in 1904, Amersfort was reopened as a public park in 1905. This peaceful and idyllic park is botanically rich and pet friendly. It features a gazebo, a fountain, and picnic tables.

The artist explored the use of texture to abstractly represent a local public park which they frequent with their dog to play ball. Although they remained true to brand identity of the New York Parks and Rec, they reimagined what a flyer of the park could be.
